I wish the customers (i.e. the server manufacturers) saw it your way, but they don't. Already they're demanding DDR over RDRAM in future servers, even though DDR isn't available yet. And although Intel will still try and push RDRAM into the server field, I honestly can't say that Intel will succeed.

Intel will continue pushing RDRAM not only in high-end desktops and workstations, but hopefully into the low-end value PCs as well, especially as memory densities increase.
