I believe I saw a survey a few years ago of the American population which ranked lawyers last on a list of most respected professions.

They sure have evolved from the days of Perry Mason.

I loved that show as a kid growing up! I'll bet I saw every program ten times.

I especially like the status meetings: everybody gets together, they agree on nothing but the date of the next meeting, and then they go back to their offices and charge their clients another few thousand bucks.

As you say, they're not necessarily bad people--I liked our Webnode defenders--but they NEVER pass up an opportunity to charge you...
