currently there are 200-300 LEDs per car. cars are expected to have around 800 LEDs.

There are in the 10's of millions of passenger cars built each year. So at 15 million times 800 times $0.25 that's another $3 billion market segment.

i believe the B of A
report suggested 2 new car mfrs have joined audi and vw in using cree LEDs.

i would guess we may get mercedes and BMW...i say this because i believe both use some german parts from siemens. same as vw and audi....gm and ford will be ok too.
