FOCUS-Sony, Intel eye home networking alliance

Japanese electronics heavyweight Sony Corp said on Thursday it was in talks with U.S. chipmaker Intel Corp (NasdaqNM:INTC - news) about a possible alliance in next-generation home appliance networks. . .The two firms would also develop gadgets using Sony's Memory Stick, a chewing gum-sized memory device which allows digitalised video images, music or computer files to be transferred among various sort of electronics devices, Jiji said.

IMHO, this might be an actual 'threat' to CF (Intel knows how to get things standarized), and kinda weird they mentioned it so unequivocally. Also the first time, and hopefully last, I've seen the word "digitalized" instead of "digitized".
