Sun seems to be keeping a low profile this week, presumably in recognition that the press is preoccupied with Thursday's Windows circus. They should be able to have a field day with some of the stuff that's spewing out of Redmond once the hoopla dies down. I wouldn't be surprised if Sun has a few announcements of its own waiting for the right moment.

If Ballmer is really as angry as he sounds in that article, he's lost it and is ready to be plucked.

A bit OT: I was amazed that, even though Sun comprises the majority of my portfolio, its drop today was more than compensated by my relatively small positions in ADI, BBRC, BRK, CEGE, LSI, ONXX, and PDLI; what a day!

JMHO, as always.

Dear Rusty: Thats just the kind of ballyhoo the public loves. Its all marketing hype IMHO. One thing is true I think, SUNW has only downside to worry about--thats what it is always like when you are on the TOP. JDN
