AS, I was actually about 3 miles away from becoming a teacher at one point right out of college. THe Dallas ISD needed teachers desperately and were hiring just about anyone with a college degree who hadn't been in jail. Since a Psychology degree is worth just less than a dozen donuts when it comes to finding a PAYING job I figured it was worth a shot. I had my ap all filled out ready to submit but I got lost downtown and missed the 5:00 deadline. Thank goodness.

My 4th grader sure is ahead of where we were when it comes to math. They are well into ALgebra at this point. When I was his age we were learning and dreaming about the BRA, the alge(bra) came much later.<g>
