You can do multiple servers with load balancing on Suns if you choose, but you can also put some heavy lifters on the job if that's more appropriate. No advantage to Windows 2000 on that front.

I interpreted the statement about 98% of customers to mean that Windows 2000 is another in a line of "good enough" software. Wait for the proverbial "next release" if you want a full solution. Of course, by that time the world has moved on.

So Microsoft is now "selling machines?" Or was that a slip of the PR tongue?
