The following was meant as a response to 60463.

I agree with umnuhnum's comment in post 60467. OEI is NOT the same company it was a year ago. Your chart does not (cannot) take this into account.

OEI is a barn burner because the funds are starting to realize it is a different company. I really like XTO but OEI IS my favorite non-trading stock. I read an interview with the CEO last fall and was very impressed.

Sold a small amount of OEI yesterday to take profits. As Slider subtly pointed out, I bought a large chunk last week at $8.5, stretching my margin to the limit. Being heavily overweighted and stretched dangerously thin were the only reasons I took profits.

Hang onto your OEI for a year and forget about it. You won't be sorry.

regarding UPR, I don't like their hedging operations AT ALL - VERY poor strategy. They also have a problem with declining production because they cut exploration during the time when exploring prices were the cheapest.
