Foreign Funds Bought Net INR748 Mln Of Indian Shares Wed

BOMBAY (Dow Jones)--Foreign institutional investors bought a net 748 million rupees ($1=INR43.62) of Indian stocks Wednesday, the Securities & Exchange Board of India said Thursday.

The board releases daily purchase and sale figures with a one-day lag.

Foreign institutional investors bought a net INR15.11 billion worth of Indian stocks until Wednesday in February, compared with net purchases of INR1.51 billion in the whole of January, the board said.
