Er, um, I got a little exposure to the legal profession, family wise, and as near as I can tell, most of the big time lawyering at big time firms is business-to-business, contracts and litigation and all that stuff. Getting the deal done, then fighting about what the deal really meant, I don't think the lawyers do much in the way of initiating that stuff, they just do what they're paid to do, go out and fight other people's battles, mostly the battles of people who got lots of money to fight over. Of course, like most of the stuff the decline of the west crowd goes on and on about, there's no sense arguing about it. I'm sure Neocon has "the best data" from "the major metastudy" somewhere, which just happens to support the "decline of the west" angle. Cheers, Dan.
