This article appeared in the N.Y. Times this morning. Did the sign use CREE products?

I believe I read on this thread when the sign first went up that the blue LEDS were sapphire. However, this gives you an idea of what the joint venture CREE is rumored to be going into with IBM could produce. It is called, I think, World Theatre, and would produce billboards like this all over the world. It would use billions of blue, green and white LEDS.
