Hi ed,

I've been trolling for ideas this morning, was considering selling VERT April 200 puts (they're being bought out. very juicy premiums.

I just exercised a bunch of Feb QCOM calls (out of necessity, gulp) and wrote cc's on them, the Mar 150's at $3 1/2. I'm also trying to sell the April 165's at $5. I'm not very good or experienced at cc's yet, but I've gotta try, as I've got a lot of QCOM and it appears to be sleeping.

I'll pull up a chart on ATML right now. Thank you for the idea.

Ed, what do you think of this...seeing as you and DoK were playing LU, I went and looked--it's been beat back, analysts are lowering expectations while upgrading it, so it will probably have a good earnings "surprise" in March, it's trading at 52 (did you mention selling March 55s on the above expectation?) anyway:

A synthetic long as follows:

Jan 01 55 ZEVAK costs about 10 1/4
Jan 01 47 1/2 are btw 5 and 6 currently, so sell 2 of those to finance one call.

Recovery is definitely expected by end of the year anyway.
