The Yahooligans on the BRCM thread on Yahoo's message board are trying to spread some crap about a buyout offer from Intel for BRCM - WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This has got to be some sort of options expiration trader induced hype. Don't believe it for a nano-second!

The answer lies in the SOX breakout during late summer '99 and the realization that a new three to five year cycle was ramping up for the semi's. The rest is pretty much the unfolding story.
