I've stopped trading metal stocks for moral reasons as well.

Thank you Rande for so graciously allowing me to voice my opinion. I know there are many pet owners and animal lovers who might prefer to make make money another way.

<By similar principal, I don't trade gaming stocks, Vancouver related penny stocks, tobacco stocks, alcohol stocks or similar types of stocks that are in business making money at the cost of great human suffering. I don't have an animal suffering policy per se. . . but am open to such suggestions and data.

I applaud you for having a well-thought out trading criteria, and hope you might also consider adding this to your list. One need only read Wired magazine to get an inkling about some of the unsavory practices done under the umbrella of science and technology.
