Bought RRC at 2 5/16. Good long term price here. It may go lower purely on momentum but I don't think it'll make a new 52 week low here given the sector breakout.

Covered my CAM when it broke 50 in a big way. So much for an OSX pullback.

I'd like to see more strength in the XOI. Somewhat troubling that the best oil stocks here are the one's near 52 week highs and the laggards continue to lag. That's part of the reason I'm holding onto my OEI. In this pure momentum market if it closes above 10 1/2 it may run a good bit.

BigBull

Oil is down $.70 for the March contract, and only down $.33 for the Jan 2001 contract. The market is adjusting for higher oil prices. To me this is very bullish. Also NG is up .09 today, which doesn't hurt.

Nice recovery on the OSX and XNG today. OXS currently down less than 1% after four out of the last five days were all up strong. Very impressive.

Bought some KEG, DO, and PXD on the pull back, and staying on 50% margin here.

NR, BSNX, XTO and NBL have all been strong today. NR is hard to believe after their poor earnings and their run from $5.50 to 7 $1/16 yesterday. Something must be up?

Jim

It's too late to avoid big gasoline price hikes, just not enough gasoline around.

Imo, time is becoming a factor here. These low stock levels will serve to keep prices high in the near to mid term time frame.

Big Bull:

Well OSX is resoponding to bad news today. A group has to be able to ignore bad news for some time before it is out of danger. One day is not enough.

This market starting to scare me. Real companies getting hammered while speculative mania stuff continues to hold up. Until the NAZ comes down to earth, this market can do anything -- even crash.
