Jeffrey,

I haven't messed with these cheap biotechs as much as you have, but it sure looks like a lot of mo'/breakout players/daytraders have joined the party here. Thompson I-Watch hasn't shown any large institutional signals or trades, but there is such stuff going on beneath the radar, for their pie chart shows trading to be ~20% institutional. What do you do in these situations? You ride it until 1) the volume thins, 2) it makes or nears an obvious technical reversal, or 3) some defining news event "clarifies" the situation.

Which do you think will happen first? I haven't had time to dig deeply, thus I don't know about the anticipated news stream; so from the other two choices I pick #1. It has just broken out to an all time high on huge volume, and reversal points are not going to be technically obvious. So what's next from the PR dept.?

Cheers, Tuck

Hi Gang,

Intriguing news today:

cnbc.com

If the HCFA does decide to reimburse for moderate to severe RA, CYPB is going to rocket to double digits in an eyeblink. We'll know in three months max. It has got to be this possibility that was attracting all this smart money of late.

I think some of the volume of late has been accumulation, but most has been daytrading. It seems to me that CYPB will continue to show strength. Just look at it now, while the rest of the market commits seppuku. The float has continued to dry up, yet the news and volume persist; thus up we go.

Cheers, Tuck

Jeffrey,

Volume seems to be flagging. I think we're nearing a short term top. In any case, I need to sell some winners to finance the next round. I have begun to nibble at STAA. Have an order in to sell CYPB at 4 1/2.

Cheers, Tuck
