Intel has definitely raised the bar but it would appear AMD has sufficient time to meet that bar and raise it further.

I wouldn't say that Intel has raised the bar, because Willamette is far from being a product. AMD has lots of time and process improvements available to keep Athlon MHz competitive.

Unless Dirk M. and company, resting on their collective laurels, have gone to sleep and done nothing in the last six months. Somehow I suspect that such is not the case.
