Never heard of GDYS. I buy clothing stocks of places I'd buy where I can see the cash registers ringing. Hasn't done me any good lately on ANF and BEBE, but I try to buy what I "know", though in some cases I take Rande's word for it. gg Except when his picks are already at $178 or something. I like em cheap. Won't even buy CMGI unless it's near 100.

Things a little better today. Bought LOR at today's low. LU got an upgrade. Lots of nice articles on ANF being so unfairly oversold it's ridiculous. (Genius analysts downgrading AFTER the stock goes all the way down). Ditto BEBE. Lead retailer GPS finally took an overdue dive. Might signal the end of the retail bloodbath. Oil prices down. Inflation benign as hell despite Greenspan's fears.

Noticed MRK at low-low price, might buy tomorrow. LLY I bet will get taken over like WLA, or merge. Very cheap now. Ditto JNJ and BMY. See telcos like GTE as cheap and safe. ESHR I sold at $25 the other day and now it's on sale at $18. Might pick some up. HDD very cheap now, the best DD stock. EGRP will move up only a matter of time now that they've decided to show profits. Was going to buy ATHM at 33 but uit popped first.

Who knows, with a little luck and overdue sector rotation I might even get my $50,000 back. Or at least half of it. Can't complain. Life is good. The shock has worn off. I'm ready to make some money again.
