The users seem to love the M-series, but let's see in a couple of months. My impression is the favorable reaction may lead to Igen easily exceeding its targets for placements. It appears Igen's statements of being able to place the M-series throughout the various labs in pharma. company's are not just talk. Some companies want a universal platform from preclinical testing to patient testing (Igen may have gotten this line from the customers) which can also handle the various immunoassay based tests with a sensitivity apparently down to direct detection of a very small number of targets such as an abnormal gene without amplification. we will have to wait to see how well Igen markets what looks like a good machine.
