Interesting article, Sommers, and perfectly suited for this thread. China is an exotic country by western standards, with traditions and standards of behavior that seem very alien, as I'm sure we appear to them. I found that to be the case in Japan, and it took me years of visits before I began to make head or tail of it on a very superficial level. I hope Q's efforts will have resulted in a viable arrangement. When do you come back to start classes? cuf
