Ausdauer, re: "collectible". Can we expect ancient (circa 1997) SNDK CF cards to sell at eBay for thousands of dollars any time soon? If you say yes, I'll put my Barbie collection up for sale tomorrow .. not to mention those cases of "Billy Beer" that I stashed away during the Carter administration.

Collectible?

Craig

ref: "There are not many high tech, cutting-edge semi manufacturers that produce such a useful, attractive, tangible, collectible, and irreplaceable product line like CF, MMC and SDMC."

the upcoming stock split I hope that there will be the possibility to get more shares in the hands of individual investors like ourselves.

Aus, re the above statement, the individual consumer may as well just go and buy what they can. The split isn't going to do anything. For the poor guy who was waiting for the split at 80, the stock price is going to be 80 again, after the split.

I visited my cousin in FL last Nov. He asked me for some stock picks; I gave him four. At the time SNDK was in the 80's. It was one of the four and I told him it was an expensive stock and would remain so. He bought it shortly thereafter on the dip to 69. (He thinks I'm a genius <G>.)

My point: SNDK is going to be an expensive stock from now on. People waiting for splits are nuts. Buy on dips (thankfully there haven't been many lately) and put it away. If you can't afford 100 shares, buy 50.

All IMHO
