Did you watch the presentation?

It was just a goofy way to express the #1500 (1000 + 500). That's it. End of story.

I don't know why he did it that way. Pretty silly if you ask me. Either say 1500 MHz or 1.5 GHz. I'm in agreement that his nomenclature was dumb, especially now that it's been so misinterpreted.

But it's just as silly to grab on to this little tidbit reported second hand by The Register and try to make something out of it.

I bet Magee is laughing his a** off right now.
