multimedia software system, today announced that both companies will work
together to develop MetaTrust-Certified(TM) ThrottleBox viewer and packager
software. ThrottleBox is the next generation of downloadable media that
enables video, audio, hyperlinked text, graphics and still images to be
integrated into a single downloadable file. Integrating digital rights
management (DRM) will allow ThrottleBox to not only provide robust protection
for digital content, but also to generate new, flexible business offers.
Consumers can freely download the ThrottleBox Player and ThrottleBox
Assembly Tool (Bronze) multimedia software. An advanced commercial version of
the ThrottleBox Assembly Tool is available for license. The ThrottleBox.com
website contains a variety of downloadable entertainment content, including
music and videos from major labels, such as Warner Bros., Atlantic, Elektra,
and Reprise as well as dozens of independent record labels and artists,
including Tommy Boy, Essential, Epitaph, Hollywood and Metal Blade, plus
