Re: "According to Saturn, Dresden is yielding 30% at 1 GHz. How about Intel's yields at 1 GHz?"

According to Saturn it was somebody on another BB who made that claim.

May I remind you that the proper term is binsplit as yield refers to (good die)/(total die) without regard to speed.

I know the 1 GHz binsplit but if I told you I'd have to .... well you know the rest.

Scumbria - <How about Intel's yields at 1 GHz?>

I'm pleased with the bin split. I was more pleased after I saw TWY's post. <VBG>

Dresend isn't shipping yet. I am more curious as to how AMD is doing with it's 1GHz vw. Al process. Not that I expect to find out.

Intel's Fab 12 in Arizona now ships 1 million CuMine die in a week. How many die does Dresden ship?

SCUMbria - Re: "According to Saturn, Dresden is yielding 30% at 1 GHz. How about Intel's yields at 1 GHz?'

Where can I buy a 1 GHz Dresden-made AthWiper CPU or PC ?

By all accounts, why aren't the stores FULL OF THEM since yields SO HIGH?

Sorry Scumbria, I made no such claim.

I think TheWatsonYouth made such a statement
