I've seen lots of 0.18u transistors run at room temperature. ;^)) I could design a circuit at any time that runs at 5 GHz. In fact, I'll take the bold step of doing it right now on SI.

Assume a gate delay of 100 ps. The total delay is 200 ps = 5 GHz.
