Susan - us West Coasters have the best and worst of it I think in terms of time... we can quit the market and carry on with plenty of time left in the day; but we need to be up durn early to be there for market open...(I hate trying to be up for the bond market open, I rarely make it).

In addition to the SOX and NDX and various internet indicies, I'm also keeping an eye on foreign indicies too. It may be more than a coincidence that other indicies are testing tops or at least recent consolidation periods.

And I see the Hang Seng makes lower lows today on resolution of a bear flag. Currently down 392 (2.32%).

``I think a lot of people will be watching each other this morning and waiting to see what the first moves are,' said a senior equity salesman at a British brokerage.

``We saw good performance from U.S. tech stocks overnight but there is an adage that the first move is usually the wrong move. Yesterday (Thursday) was choppy. I expect more of the same today.'

Speaking of YHOO (was I?) it sure has resolved into a typical Nasdaq triangle, will be interesting to see what it resolves into.

'nite!
