After reporting my failure in getting the new Streamer to work on my configuration, I heard back from Datek tech support. At first they offered generic suggestions to get the new Streamer to work. None of these simple suggestions worked, since nothing in my configuration had changed between the time the old Streamer was working and they launched the new one. After I sent them the Java code from my console, which clearly showed there was a problem executing their new script, they then responded that the new Streamer will not work with Netscape Communicator, at least not on my PowerMac. They suggested I use Internet Explorer instead.

I do not want to switch browsers just to get the Streamer working again. Is anyone else having success with Streamer running under Netscape browsers? Is this a Mac only problem?

I encourage others who are now locked out of Streamer access to email Datek's tech support and express your displeasure.

Sure miss that Streamer. The old one worked almost flawlessly compared to the many troubles others have expressed here getting it to work on their configurations.
