Sure would like to see the 40% move that you suggest, Jay. My C$2.50 estimate for 2000 is more of a guess-timate, but it would actually represent slower EPS growth than Dorel has achieved in recent years (setting aside the special restructuring charges in 1998). Clearly, one of the problems with Dorel is low liquidity and low trading volumes, related in part I suspect to low following of the stock. Look at the bid and offered quantities and daily volumes on Nasdaq (DIIBF); also unaccountably low volumes on TSE. At some point, I supect within next year or two, the interest, analyst coverage, and trading volumes (and share price) for Dorel will have a meaningful breakthrough.
Good luck to us all! Jay
