Then the shareholders vote out the management for failing to accept a reasonable offer. Ultimately this management is going to have to maximize shareholder value. Allowing the stock to trade at three fourths of cash value violates their fiduciary responsibility to shareholders. Turning down offers that give a reasonable value to the deposit again violates their responsibility to maximize shareholder value. When and if such an offer comes, SJD shareholders will have the opportunity to decide if this management best represented their interests (which I presume is a higher stock price).
