OT Terrapin: Dear Terrapin, Unfortunately, I formed a snap judgement based on the flock of people who periodically pop onto threads with similar questions, people who do _not_ hold shares of the stock concerned, actually have no real interest in the stock, but are trying to tap knowledge of people who do for a speculative play on a take-out candidate (so they can make a fast buck when such announcement is made). When I looked at postings in your profile and did not see any to the CSCO thread as far back as they go, I made an assumption about you [based on what I just said]. Had you made a different posting, asking for the same information but saying a bit more, such as that you are a shareholder but infrequent posting and, possibly sharing any companies you think might be targets, I am sure I would have either made a different posting or not made one at all (because potential CSCO take over companies is not something of interest to me). >I do not wish to get in a jousting match with you but your judgement of me is inaccurate. Oh, I was not planning to get into one with you.
