Gilder does not run any money himself. He and Clayton Christensen (The Innovator's Dilemma) were recently hired as "consultant's" by Merrill. Seems half the tech world hangs on Gilder's every word.

Actually, he didn't say the "will" be in the standard. Sounds like he thinks it's likely, though. I don't want to speak for him, but I don't think he thinks it is imperative to TERN's success anyway. Liability? He simply didn't say what you say he said.
