You might want to consider doing that flip of selling some common to buy LEAPs. This works if you can cover some losses with your sale (in a taxable account...assuming your common Q position is in the black) or in an IRA

I only hold common in my IRAs which are Legg Mason accounts. Legg Mason does not allow the trading of LEAPS in IRAs, therefore, I am switching to Fidelity.
