bunch of yes responses to the above should give you motivation.

as far as a "good" price, i would look at all the fifty strikes from march to january. see what percent return they would give you if they expire worthless, annualize the return so you can make a comparison....you may find a series of shorter term sales may give you a better return...but it is your decision.

barring any future surprise event from lucent,and based on a neutral to positive news environment fifty is low risk....
