Ralph, I'm always tempted to do something in the futures but I have no statistics at all that would help me quantify the risks of the horse not making the race, holding form, or getting surpassed by a new contender. If I ever get really bored.... Do they comingle all stakes pools these days? I've done almost all my betting from the comfort of my living room for the last few years. It was a number of years ago that the stakes pools were separate and I used to notice the arbitrage possibilities. These days I just accept the odds on TV. (g) Last year I made it to the track a total of 5 times, Belmont once and Saratoga for a long weekend. There was a period of many years not long ago when I only missed a Saturday, Sunday, vacation day, or holiday when my fever was above 103. 102 and I was there! (g) Wayne
