Is voice over IP subject to disruptions by denial of service attacks? Thanks in advance.

VoIP is a lot of things to a lot of different people. Denial of service attacks are performed to attack public web sites. VoIP networks will be primarily private networks, so that won't fly.

As far as IP ubiquity is concerned, I believe that we will see IP mobile phones in the near future, connected to the web. I believe that IP appliances that will be connected to home networks and the internet will be a reality. I believe that carrying video at broadcast speeds over IP will happen. I believe that PDA's will be connected to the net and will be used for e-commerce and on-line trading. I believe that most of us will use a broadband connection with several PCs connected to the web from our home. And I believe that CSCO is well positioned to benefit from the growth of IP traffic, be it voice or otherwise, that the world is experiencing.

The Internet is bigger than a 15 year old hacker. And I just don't argue with 53% growth and 68% margins.
