Confirmed by web support - you can't place trades on the web right now. 2nd option expiration day in a row their systems couldn't handle the volume.

And still they believe its best that customers wait on hold and tie up their phone system (exacerbating the problem of actually getting through to a rep to actually place a trade) to get verbal confirmation of the outage rather than place an informational message on the web site.

I just got a TERRIBLE fill. Market order, NASDAQ issue, took 5 minutes.

The "terrible fill limbo".... can't cancel a market order, but can't sell shares that you know you own.

Schwab..... if you won't let someone cancel (which, of course, makes sense), then you should frigging credit the shares to the account and let your customer sell.

Steam.
