I can't imagine who would underwrite such a stock. No earnings, big litigation, big legal costs, possible judgment against them. If the stock actually were issued, it would be an indication to me that the whole market is in trouble.

For another example, take a look at the small biotech stocks. I've been following one that has a book value of about $0.25 per share, and the stock has jumped from 7 to 14 in the last two weeks. Of course, they're losing money hand over fist, they've got huge debt, but at least they have some real patents, and that's more than Lexar.
