I think some of UPS top brass invested seed capital, but I think it is not directly from UPS and I believe the relationship has ended.

I really think I remember reading a WSJ article a few years back about exactly what size piece of Mail Boxes Etc. (and what price per share) U.P.S. was purchasing.

(I don't have time to do some "serious" digging on the Internet right now. Maybe later ...)
