Obviously the cnbc commentator is reading the WRONG thread. Agreed. I should have noted that in my post....but I've been so shell-shocked with the Willie announcement and everything....I thought Intel was going to keep screwing up forever.... And the Athlon is available at higher speeds than the Floppermine. True, but I could get an 800mhz flopper from Dell! And have you seen the spec scores for the flopper! I don't have the scores, but I know someone who could post them. Well maybe I couldn't get a flopper, but I could order one....and maybe it would come by spring. I could pay $1,000 for 128mb of rambust.....or I could get sdram....oh wait, I forgot about the problem with the MTH thingie....hey, maybe Intel IS screwing up forever! -Scot (shell-shocked)
