I think the person neglects the fact that there historically has been a runup in MSFt _before_ the release date. The three month returns after that are therefore average.
This time around, MSFT is down 20% off its highs. In addition there is the wild card of DOJ debacle in progress.
Well I have an additional 3K MSFT thanks to my naked puts of MSQNT(30 FEB MSFT100). Not too worried...
On the brighter side, I had 190 short contracts of numerous options expire worthless today(always nice...)
