You had surgery? Yucko, couldn't you heal whatever it was with alternate therapies?
I was watched over by angels this month apparently: my brake light has been on and we keep adding brake fluid but it only went off for a while and then on again. I brought it in today and the mechanic said all brakes are now malfunctioning and need replacing...front and back both. But I haven't had any trouble braking at all.
Same thing happened to me years and years ago. I had a brand new Ford truck and went on a big trip with kids and a neighbor and her kids. We went into serious mountain country, to Banff and Jasper National Park. Not a problem anywhere.
Then I went home and brought the truck in for its 5000 mile check up. That afternoon they offered me a rental car and said they'd have to keep the truck for a few days. HuH? I just brought it in for its checkup. They said it had been released from the factory with totally faulty brakes.
I didn't even know about angels then but they must have been there.
Fast recovery to you and good luck and happy three day weekend away from the market for all.

Missed you too Tom, and I mean that. I have done very little trading this week--distracted by other things--I did manage to get out of JDSU march 200 calls I had forgotten I'd bought, and did that near the high of the day thank god. I watched Cree (are you smiling) go down into the 160s but (are you smiling more) I am still waiting for further retracement or I'll buy calls on Tue. I thoguht of selling covered calls on QCOM (by the time I came home I'd missed the day's high) so I decided to wait a bit on that too. Seems I'm utterly indecisive as of late. It is so gloomy up here--all snowy and grey, yuck. The city was a comedy of errors today with stalled vehicles everywhere and slush and skidding.

Hi Voltaire! Here's to you health!

Guess what is coming down the road?

A man with a red bucket and yellow shovel dressed in a QCOM T-Shirt covered in "Vote for Voltaire" buttons.

You know the one from the sand box that always ask "Is that suppose to be funny?"

Yep! don't think I'll be staying long.

Wow! Nice PJ's voltaire, expecting company? You look great!

Now you just go sit down and let me fix you something to eat.

Love ya man!
