Paul I think you have the thumperbird confused with the Wallamette which is sold next to the toiletries at Walmart.The Thumperbird is suffering from the same problem as the floppermines in that excessive demand (who knew it would take more than 10) has limited the supply to OEMS.

INQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW - since you seem to think this is CRITICAL for Intel - must be CRITICAL for AMD - RIGHT ?

For the past 6 months, AMD has had an extremely good record of delivering on their promises. Intel on the other hand has not. Gateway and Dell have publicly criticized Intel for not living up to their promises.
