It sure was an interesting option expiration day. I bought back my Feb 40 calls for 2 only to see the the price collapse in the next 20 minutes.

My theory was that it may be hard to buy the shares back at the same price ($42) on Monday morning. We will see if I made the right call (with my calls).

Speaking of online brokers, one of my brokers Lombard -> Discover Brokerage -> Morgan Stanley Dean Witter Online refused to process another option order I placed at 3:59 saying it's "Too late to place trade".

RE:"I didn't get closed out of all my Feb calls apparently, but I see last trade of $43...Anybody know, if $43 stands, does that mean I'll take delivery of shares for my remaining 42.50's and 40's?

This could get vey interesting come Monday, if I end up owner of a slew of shares...not that I'd mind...just complicates things a little!"...

I'll bet AMD remains unchanged on Monday.

niceguy,

I don't know about your broker but at Schwab any option that's
1/2 of a dollar or more in the money is automatically exercised.
