The problem's the greybeards . . . . not Big Al. The democrats won't allow a fed-initiated recession like the one that caused Big George Bush to be booted out of office. Clinton and Gore must be working behind the scenes to prevent irrational decisions by those dumb dudes. (They have more ways of exerting pressure on them than on that dumb dude in the sandbox.)
