Steven, natural laws to me are like principles. Principles are proven guidelines for human conduct. The six major world religions all teach the same basic core beliefs. "You reap what you sow". "Actions are more important than words." and so forth.

People may argue about how natural principles are to be applied in real-life situations, but they generally agree about their merit. And they're easy to detect. They may not live in total harmony with them, but they believe in them nevertheless. Consider what a society would be like based on the opposite beliefs. I doubt that anyone would survive if we aligned ourselves and our societies toward the principles of unfairness, or deceit.

Just as gravity is an unchanging law of nature, so true are the natural laws of man. Trust, trustworthiness, honesty, integrity, courage and fairness. The more a society moves away from those natural laws. The closer it comes to destruction. Therefore, they are necessary for our survival as a species.

I love this quote by Albert Einstein.

"Many times a day I realize how much my own inner and outer life is built on the labors of other men, both living and dead, and how earnestly I must exert myself in order to give in return as much as I have received".

Giving is the creative process of self to SELF. In giving, one's self becomes aligned to the natural laws of man, and is a part of a greater force present in the universe. To give is to grow, both individually and as a society.
