Ahoy, Mile High. Saw some of your posts over on the Global Crossing board. I feel your pain. GBLX is my #2 holding, behind GSTRF. Talk about a pounding! Still, I'm a lot less concerned about Global Crossing than Globalstar, right now. Therefore, prompted by my perverse and masochistic anti-logic, I scraped around for enough loose change under the sofa cushions to buy a few more shares of Globalstar today. ... A question for anyone who knows more about technology than I do (i.e., everyone): Is it totally stupid to bring up the notion of G* in connection with VoIP service? The only reason I ask is that I've heard that internet-based telephony can be cheaper than traditional telephone service. In my pea brain, I was wondering whether, if G* can carry Internet data, it might one day be able to exploit price advantages of VoIP. --Sorry in advance if that's not worth responding to. I claim Old Milwaukee as a defense.
