Duncan, I think we're both afflicted by the same sort of twisted thinking about trying to buy low (ha ha). ... I think most/all of us on this thread realize that Globalstar is a speculative investment. In the past, I've found it easier to buy low when the overall market has suffered a sharp decline and the stock I'm interested in has fallen along with everything else. It's been different for Globalstar the past month. Globalstar has been falling when the NASDAQ has been booming (today's action aside). That's especially scary. At some point, you have to respect the wisdom of the street. In the end, as the cliche goes, the street is always right. However, like you, I think it's still too early for the verdict on Globalstar. The more I talk with people who have travelled or lived abroad in areas outside large cities, the more I get the impression that Globalstar can provide service for enough subscribers to make the system successful. But that's just from my very limited and pea-brained experience. With regard to assessing Globalstar's prospects this year, even George Gilder is probably operating on faith right now. Best of luck with your investment(s).
