gdr what amazes me is that analysts either

1. don't know this...

2. know it and mislead their "customers."

i never realized that bull markets inhibited the ability of people to think coherently.

watch. if the sec takes a tough stance, there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth as the stocks fall. however, NOTHING REALLY changed in the business except a number on a 10q.

Did you read Fleck's current column? Some companies are excluding amortization of goodwill from their operating expenses in their reports to analysts.
