ZO don't get too upset with analysts. It won't help. Many are clueless and will remain so.

There is a lot of dough in the big 2 ( now 3 ? ) telcos, CSCO, LU & now NT.

" They cannot be allowed to fail ".

A lot of reputations from brokers to media are at stake.

I think you just have to wait for NN's and ALA's technology
to bite them in their tush, to scream and yell and
finally wake up.

More contracts is what will spell the truth,

Can someone explain me why most of analysts
are soon clueless, and do not want to talk about fixed core
LMDS NN has, and won 50% contracts around the glob.
In Q3 they have already seen pick up in LMDS and much more to come, b/c many licenses, specially in Europe, was granted officially to alternate carriers.
The next company which has core LMDS over ATM is MOT/CSCO
JV which can only show officially one contract against
NN 7 or 8 including MaxLnink(800mil Cd),Toshiba(350 mil US). Bell South Int,Korean Telecom and others.Also over 65 trials.And recent NT/MOT deal surprised
J.Chambers(CSCO
CC)

NT has few deals, bet mainly Teligent( financed by NT) in less popular 24Ghh spectrum. On the recent CC CEO of NT was not to eager to talk about LMDS.

Alcatel has on the other hand access part of LMDS, where NN core.

Z. Recent issue of Forbes highlighted upcoming US wide rollout of MMDS from MCI/WCOM and the fixed wireless service being rolled out by ATT. Both are line of sight fixed wireless. MCI does not spport phone well (normal IP baloney) and T apparently does. The source of this technology was not mentioned. NN needs a customer that is rolling out something big before any mention is made, don't you think? The MCI rollout is to as many homes as ATT cable reaches, at 5% per home of the cost.
