Damn tootin! I would much rather have you there (even uncertified -- there are not enough of us to go around on all flights) than some damned goose. At least in an emergency, from what I've heard, there would be something to hang on to.

I seem to remember Dan telling me, in a bemused tone of voice, that AMerican Airlines had a discrimination suit filed against them by someone who was not allowed to sit in the emergency exit row seat. The person was blind.
